Description

This rare Morenci turquoise 1940s Navajo sterling silver concho belt is a real showstopper! The delicately stamped silver conchas feature 14 singular stones of rare and highly sought Morenci turquoise from the long-closed Morenci mine of Southern Arizona. Crafted in the First Phase Revival style, it was likely created for special occasions due to the quality of the stones and craftsmanship. The belt is stamped with the maker initials "BY," probably for Benjamin Yazi.

Length: 29"-32" when worn.
