Careers: Part-Time Sales Associate

Surfing Cowboys, the original purveyors of the California Dream, is hiring for their outpost in Malibu Village along the historic Pacific Coast Highway. Now in our 28th year of business we are a small brand that is known the world over for our eclectic mix.

We are seeking a few authentic, passionate and reliable PART-TIME sales associates (10-20 hours per week) that are looking for an exciting opportunity to work in with a thriving small business.

Sales associates should enjoy the art of storytelling and will act as matchmakers- pairing our customers with our unique and wide-ranging product selection in store. Sales associates should also feel inspired by the Surfing Cowboys lifestyle and aesthetic, as they are first and foremost, ambassadors of the brand and will be conveying our brand message to customers around the world.

Inventory Management

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent Communication Skills- in person, on the phone, and via email

Flexible team player with a willingness to learn and follow directions

Detail-Oriented

Interest (or previous knowledge) of Vintage Clothing and General Goods

Interest (or previous knowledge) of Surf Culture

Interest (or previous knowledge) of Mid-century Modern Furniture & Design

Must be able to lift 30 pounds

Must be available to work weekends

2+ years of sales experience preferred but not required; as this is not a run-of-the-mill sales job

Computer skills a plus

Foreign language skills a plus
