1930s surfing champ Lewis Earl ″Hoppy″ Swartz founded the United States Surfing Association in the early 1960s and is recognized as the father of organized surfing and developer of the judging system used on the professional circuit.

All original vintage condition, some areas of pitting, rust and wear as is consistent with age and a long life lived near the ocean.
