This board is in excellent condition for its age, there are a few discolored areas on the deck and a couple of small repairs that are expertly done. A truly beautiful board. Measures: 7' 2" (86") L. 21" W. 2.5" D. 11" with fin.
During the 1970s Lightning Bolt was by far the most desired and enigmatic surfboard label anywhere on the planet. At the time Gerry Lopez and the Lightning Bolt team riders charged waves at Pipeline, Waimea, and around the world. Every magazine had ads and editorial photos showing The Bolt and Lightning Bolt Surfboards were made under license world-wide. Terry Martin shaped boards since age 14. He started working with Hobie Alter in Dana Point in the 1960s, he passed in 2012, yet he is still considered one of the most respected shapers in the surf industry.
