Lopez. Eberly. Brewer. Rarick. Four North Shore icons in one board.

Dating to approximately 1973, this classic Lightning Bolt single-fin surfboard was shaped by Tom Eberly, one of the respected Hawaiian shapers associated with the legendary Lightning Bolt era and, by many accounts, one of Gerry Lopez’s favorite shapers during the formative Lightning Bolt years.

The board carries the unmistakable hallmarks of the period: a sleek 7'2" silhouette, diamond tail, saturated red finish, elongated yellow bolt, hand-scripted Tom Eberly signature, and original Dick Brewer fin.

Lovingly and painstakingly restored by legendary Hawaiian surfer, shaper, surf historian, and master board restorer Randy Rarick, the board is in amazing condition. The restoration preserves the authority of the original shape while allowing its beautifully distilled design to read with striking clarity.

A rare piece of North Shore surf history with undeniable presence. A remarkable collector’s surfboard and a commanding piece of California-Hawaiian surf culture for display.
