Description

In Southern California, Morrison is local mythology. Lead singer of The Doors, poet, songwriter, and one of the defining creative figures of late-1960s Los Angeles, Jim Morrison helped shape the sound and attitude of a changing cultural moment. From the Sunset Strip clubs of West Hollywood to the creative communities of Venice and Laurel Canyon, his influence stretched across music, film, fashion, and art.

Venice poetry, Sunset Strip electricity, and Laurel Canyon atmosphere are woven into one restless California spirit — captured here in loose, expressive blue, green, and graphite line-work.
