Description

Our Neighborhood series began with an original 1930s Venice High School half-zip sweatshirt from the Surfing Cowboys archive—a piece with proportions and details too good to leave in the past.

The Santa Monica edition takes that vintage athletic language in a sharper direction. Garment-dyed black cotton is set against custom cream-striped ribbing, with a bold SM chest patch outlined in red, a cream 3 at the shoulder, and our Surfing Cowboys insignia at the cuff.

The shape keeps everything we loved about the original: a relaxed body, substantial cotton, short metal half zip, hand-warmer pockets and wide striped ribbing. It has the attitude of an old team sweatshirt without feeling like a reproduction.

Toss it over a T-shirt and the outfit is handled.

Made in downtown Los Angeles in a small production run.

Fabric + Care

Machine wash delicate, cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble low or lay flat to dry. Do not bleach. Do not iron directly over patches or decoration.
