Vintage 1960's WHEE-LO Motorized STORE COUNTER DISPLAY - All Original and It WORKS!
This FUN & ALL ORIGINAL SHOP DISPLAY was used during the 1960s to promote the Whee-lo toy.
Imagine the hours of fun this item offered children who were captivated by the rotating motion of the electrified toy display and their dreams of playing with the real thing.

A few fun bits of Whee-lo knowledge:
• New York company Maggie Magnetic Inc. introduced the "Whee-lo The Magnetic Walking Wheel" in 1953.
• Promoted as a toy for contests, "sick rooms" and "back seats"
• The Whee-lo toy itself was sold with six colorful attachments for the retail price of .79 cents
• In his autobiography The Stringless Yo-Yo, Harvey Job Matusow claimed to have invented the Whee-lo to raise money to pay his legal fees incurred when he was charged with lying to Congress during the 1957 Anti-Communist McCarthy trials.
