Italian Armchair by Giovanni Nino Zoncada made in 1965. Reupholstered and completely restored. All new interior filling, the fabric is thick Italian Mohair and the legs have a fresh coat of enamel.

Giovanni "Nino" Zoncada (Italian 1898-1988). Zoncada's designs graced the finest Italian ships built from the 1930s-1970s. His work in Italian ocean liner interior design rivaled that of his contemporaries Gio Ponti and Gustavo Pulitzer-Finale and was highly sought after.

Zoncada designed this pair of chairs for the Stella Maris II, they date to 1965.
