David Cressey Mid-Century California Stoneware Planter, Set of 6

David Cressey Mid-Century California Stoneware Planter, Set of 6. Amazing glazed stoneware planters capture a sample of Cressey's most desirable ceramic glazes in an array of natural earth, water and sky colors and in an easily displayable size. Cressey's organic petal design, the famous Cressey flame drip glaze, a mottled glaze and a matte solid glaze are all represented. Created for Architectural Pottery in the 1970s these ceramic planters are gems that have stood the test of time. Shaped with a flat back these pieces were designed to fit into small areas or be grouped back to back. Each one is factory drilled at the bottom. Overall amazing condition with no chips or cracks apart from natural artist "imperfections" from the time of firing. Each planter measures as follows: HEIGHT: 8 in. (20 cm) WIDTH: 8 in. (20 cm) DEPTH: 4.25 in. (11 cm) More photos available by request.
