This is a rare and useful, large size 1920s terracotta hanging flower pots made by Bauer in Los Angeles California. Pots are in very good, all original, condition. Made for hanging with chain or rope, these pots are currently fashioned to a chain that can be replaced or painted. Proudly stamped on bottom with the Bauer in Los Angeles California stamp used since the 1920s when the company produced the California Color Line, arguably the most successful garden and home pottery ever produced. These terracotta pots pre-date the color line and are symbolic of the company's earlier work.
