Early 1960s Santa Cruz California longboard surfboard by Olson. We see very few Olsen surfboards and we are happy this great example came to us. Classic and stylish this 1960s California vintage surfboard has been fully restored to a shining beauty without loosing its authentic essence. The condition, color and shape make it a wonderful item to display and to view from all directions. Clear bright deck and bottom are accented with midnight black rails and fin. The 3/4 inch redwood stringer gives the board strength for big wave riding and acts as a central focal point around which the brick-red design is shaped. Original logos are bright and clear. The price and stock number written on the fin were still visible prior to restoration and so retained for posterity. George Olsen was a stand out surfer and a regular in the Santa Cruz line-up.
