Balsa wood surfboard, Downhome shaped by Tom Gaglia, California, 1970s.
Elegant gun shaped board with stripes of alternating foam and wood used to create the tail block, down rails and good thickness, it screams "let's go
surf". Our research indicates that this board hails from Lahaina, Hawaii,
shaped in the old Lahaina cannery workshop of Downhome by master shaper Tom Gaglia.

The board is in great condition and is all original with the exception of a later added leash anchor. It shows authentic use and wear in the form of pressure dings and surface scratches.

The board has a fin box and detachable fin. Board measures: 96 inches L x 19 inches wide x 1.5 inches thick fin is removable, board is 9.5 inches deep with fin in place.
